A third-generation dentist, Dr. Lance Johnson has been practicing dentistry for more than 25 years. Hailing from Bennington, Oklahoma, Dr. Lance has spent most of his life raising cattle with his family. He attended Delta State University as an undergraduate and went on to the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and received numerous awards, including the Academy of General Dentistry Award, the Mississippi Dental Association Award, and the American Academy of Periodontology Award. Dr. Lance is a member of numerous honor societies and dental associations, making him a pivotal part of the dental care community. A passion for community service led him to serve as a volunteer firefighter for 15 years in his hometown, earning him awards including “The Chief’s Award.” With dedication and a big heart, Dr. Lance worked his way through the ranks, finishing his volunteer stint in Fire Chief’s position. During his spare time, you’ll find Dr. Lance hunting, ranching, fishing, and spending time with his two sons, Tristan and Tanner. Dr. Miranda (Poe) Hansen was born and raised in the Denison/Sherman area and is excited to be able to serve the community that means so much to her! She attended Texas A&M University as an undergraduate and went on to Texas A&M School of Dentistry in Dallas. She has received the Medal for Excellence in Service and Leadership as well as the Comprehensive Dentistry Program Award. She is the proud wife to Josh, a Garland firefighter, and mom to her 1-year-old son, Liam. During their free time they love to play outside with their Mini Aussie Duke, snowboard, paint, and garden. Dr. Hansen loves to develop long-term, meaningful relationships with her patients so if you see her around town, please say hello!
Our Dental Assistant Ali is also one of the smiling faces you’ll see when you check in at our front desk. Ali is a proud 2019 graduate of Grayson College’s Dental Assisting program and joined us in Spring 2021. Outside of work, Ali enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Go Bills!
Financial Coordinator Cathie has been in dentistry since 1975. She has recently joined the business team to review treatment plans and financing with our patients. She and her husband George moved from Richardson to Sadler in 2016 and truly enjoy country living. They have four children, six grandchildren, and a large extended family that live all over the country. Cathie enjoys cooking, gardening, and sewing. She has 6 fur babies, 3 dogs, and 3 cats.
Dental Hygienist Kenzie obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene in her hometown of Wichita Falls. She joined our team in 2016, bringing first-class skills and high energy to the hygiene department. When Kenzie isn’t caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter Kylie Kay, and family and friends — usually in the great outdoors, especially the lake! Kenzie became a mom in the middle of the pandemic, and you’ll always catch her daughter Kylie in a bow!
Dental assistant Jenenne has over 25 yrs in the dental field. When she is not working she is spending time riding horses , camping and enjoying her family. Although she is a part time assistant with Dr Johnson she feels she gets the best of both worlds. Her love for dentistry and family.
Meet our Office Manager, Lauren! Lauren has been in dentistry since 1982 and joined our team in 1997 to support direct patient care and the business office. She and her husband Jim have four children and four grandchildren who keep them very busy. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys ranch and lake life, traveling, sport-fishing, and photography.
Dental Assistant Terri is part of our direct care and clinical team. She has been in dentistry for more than 25 years. She has two grown children and one grandson. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, and loves to cook.
Our Hygiene Coordinator Judy joined the business team in 2022 and has worked as a dental assistant for over 28 years. She brings years of experience, communication skills, and a friendly face to help our entire team and our patients scheduling needs. Outside of work Judy has three children, and six grandkids to keep her busy. She enjoys going camping in Colorado with her husband Jackie, and gardening.
Dental Hygienist, Kara, obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene at Texas Women’s University of Denton, Tx. Kara has worked in the Grayson County area since her graduation and has now found her way to our office. Kara brings with her an abundance of perio knowledge and patient centered care. Outside of work, Kara is a blessed wife and mother who adores fun activities with her family and friends.
Jenny brings to the team over 25 years of dental experience of skilled and compassionate care. She earned her Associates of Science in dental hygiene in 2010 from Collin College in Mckinney, Texas. Jenny is dedicated to providing personal and exceptional care promoting lifelong oral health. Jenny is also that high-energy mom and the ultimate family cheerleader at her children’s various sporting events. In her extra time, she also enjoys reading, cooking, karaoke, being outdoors and play-time with her grandson. Our patients are in good hands with her.
Tylar is the friendly face at the front desk with high energy. She greets patients and visitors with a smile. With more than a decade of customer service experience, Tylar is a valued member of the team. When she is not at work, she enjoys fitness, gardening, and cooking. In addition to that, Tylar is a fun mom of three children and two dogs.
